Hey Matt, You missed the Bellville race ! Talk about a rough track ! Makes Your track look like an On-Road track ! LOL ! Im not complaining but what a different style of track ! Whoops, doubles, drop-offs, ruts, but it was a super fun track, just not fun enough for me.... 8th in the "B" after my rear shock top fell off and then "flamed out"
I should have been there Friday morning instead of getting there at 7am Sunday. LOL ! Good Time though !!!!
Dave Henry Wins Again with Patric and Gareth in 2nd and 3rd.
Ab came in 4th, I helped him rebuild his clutch for the main, Martin too.
Martin "flamed out" too...... wanna know why ? Well, I changed my set-up and that involved moving the top rear shock mount, so I guess the nut wasn`t tight enough and that came off..... I limped into the pits and Trevor [who was pitting for Martin] ran back to his pit to get me a nut for the shock right when Martin needed to come in for fuel !!! OH OH ! No Trevor !
By the time they fixed my car it was loaded up and I flamed out after it left the pits, thats why, not because the engine is dying.
I drove like crap anyway, not to mention the stand was too crowded and I couldn`t always see my car.
3rd Annual Can-Am in Hamilton this weekend, so I will miss out at Your track.
Thanks for the help Jordan, and the offer Matt. Man that's 2 times this year that I came down pit road and nobody was home!! Now I know how Tom Cruise felt in Days of Thunder, when his pit crew was to busy eating ice cream to pit him. LOL. Trevor is a nice guy but don't ask him to pit for you. He will tell you that also. Just ask Richard Saxton!!!
