Tony, it depends on the track, in St. Catherines I run my rollout at about 47-48, which is a 30 tooth pinion, 88 tooth spur and 46mm tire. If i'm at Fastcats I bump up my rollout to around 50-52, which is 31-32 tooth pinion, 88 spur and 46mm tire. And I'm using a Brood C2 for a motor and it loves this gearing. Hope I could help you out. Andrew
If you register including payment by March 5th with us, you will be entered into an exclusive draw that will take place on the Saturday of the big weekend like an early bird draw. You will also be in the general draw on the Sunday as well!
Also when you register with us starting on March 5th for the rest of the month before the big race you can race the 2nd class for free.
This is good to try out Modified or another class to be more ready and dialed up.
Register by March 5th, you get in the 2nd draw for you early birds so you have a great odds draw on Saturday. You will also be in a Sunday draw like normal if you sign up early. So your chances are greater.
As for the 2nd class, after registration and payment is submitted for the Canadian Champs. The free 2nd class is only for our weekly clubs races left before the Champs. That will be March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th. Some incentive for trying something new or being ready. I know I never am ready for modified and end up smashing all over the place with an 8 or 10 turn motor! LOL!
So if you miss the March 5th date, then you can still take advantage of the 2nd offer for trying the 2nd class. Example: you hand in registration on March 19th for the Champs. You can still do the 2nd class for free on the 19th and 26th.
As for the cost of the Champs race, it is still as on the flyer $35 for 1st class + $20 for each additional. Sorry the expenses need to be paid on a larger scale this weekend.
Hey Matt, didnt work for me, and no FK05 this week
The x ray sites down ,once its back up it should work , no 05 that sucks .look at it this way, this will be the last weekend Brain will be able to finish on the same lap as you. You will really like the car and it will be worth the wait.
Ya I cant wait, didnt make it out today anyway, my new charger went for ****, plus had a long week, lots of OT at work, so I opted to stay home and relax, prolly a bad idea, but.
We also have a new sponsor for this race , he will also be providing all are parts and performance needs for the weekend. He will have a booth set up all weekend. So a big thanks to Gary Swayze for stepping up to the plate.
Were up to 80 entries for the big race and we still got 2 1/2 more weeks to go, shaping up to be a good one. Get your registrations in and dont miss out.
