How are classes divided in Monster trucks? Would a 1/10th T-Maxx be racing a 1/8th Savage or are they different classes? I am looking at the REVO but wondered what type of trucks I would be up against. Any help is appreciated.
All nitro monster trucks race in the same class even the truggys. Buy a mayhem ST if you wanna be competitive. Steve at Niagara Central hobbys has one now for $650.

They put trucks like Savages up against Stadium trucks!!?? Like thats a fair class
I was hoping there was a not so competitive class where just Monster trucks run. Oh well.
Heard that all big races will be seperated next year and if there is enough of both they will be seperate at niagara next summer. Matt
That would be a good idea. I mean really. Monster truck racing can be fun but when you are against a Stadium truck, there is no chance in hell of competing. I plan on getting a Revo or LST. The LST is waaay overpriced so it will likely be a REVO.
If you buy a Revo upgrade the engine to a big block. The stock 15's fast but quiet and torqueless. Slow acceleration. They are a pretty reliable and nice looking truck though.
Or you could put theO S 18 in it that animal will keep up with most .21 and it bolts right in . The stock power plant does all right thats all i run in my Dads revo and i won the MT class everytime i ran it,but it does lack that iAm out iof control feelingLOL
All this REVO talk, Matt your killing me. In my humble opinion (because we're all intitled to one) I think the way to go is LST and if you can't get one of those go with the LST and if not that then I'd probably go with the LST. Are you begining to see a pattern here. Besides if I'm not mistaken the LST's took a majority of the wins this season. I bet Hightower will argue that, but what do you want from an MGT guy. LOL. What does that stand for anyway MGT My Garbage Truck. Only kidding just like to give Hightower a little pay back. You'll probably like any of these trucks the best part is bringing out to the track..... and smashing Hightower, those MGT's don't take alot of abuse.LOL.

IMO it's 70% Driver, 20% Setup, 10% truck.
As far as ightower goes... I gave him a 12 year break.... I'm coming back Hightower!!!! (Evil laugh in the background!).
