hey andrew hows it going i use purple front and grey or pink rears (pinks are a little softer more traction) i can help you out with gearing at the track i need to now what spur your are running.If you need some pinions to use i have a couple spares.
Hey Matt, I've got everything I need to race except the motor and pinion. The stock spur gear is a 100t, 64 pitch and need to know approx. what gear ration everybody is running, I plan on buying a couple of pinions and just need to know roughly where to start. I've been looking at 19t mod motors and there are so many to choose from I don't know which to choose, I'd like to hear your opinion on which motors are quality and which are garbage. Thye DC 19 at niagara central hobbies are the new craze and for good reason they are awsome also the cameleon from trinity is a sound buy aswell. I would gear then around 25 to 29 with a 45 mm tire that will put you in the ball park,
Both those motors are spec motor ( locked endbell)Must be a spec 19 turn for racing.
