Well, my first race this Sunday ended me up with nothing. Meaning no linkage between the radio and the car. After a massive crash on the back straight, my receiver doesn't work anymore. No worries, I went into the race with no confidence ONLY because of this damn AM radio. It sucks bein on a budget....and in school.
So, this is what I'm doing. Rick is selling me his JR XRi3 with servos, rec. and 5 sets of crystals. He's givin me a wicked deal on it too!
Has anyone ever used this setup? And if so, how was it? I did alot of research and found more good than bad things on it, so im not worried about it ****ting out on me.

I use a JR XR3i and had no problems with it. I think you'll love it over your am job. I don't see a need to spend $500 on a M11 or 3Pk. You should be fine.
