Hey everyone, My name is Tommy,I'm 19 and I'm from Welland. I managed to get rid of my shift at work today so I can make it out to the first indoor race at Merriton today. WOW, looks like I DEFINITELY found my new hobby.
I've been into these R/C cars for quite some time now but never went out and bought one for myself...until 2 weeks ago. I picked up a TC4 kit from Steve at NCH and boy what an investment. I will be racing next week in the Touring 19 class with a Chameleon 2 motor. Hope to definitely meet all of you there!
Glade to hear that you will be out it will be a great season. One thing is for sure you are off to a good start shopping a steves at NCH. If you need any help next week look me up . Ill be pitting on the stage.
Ya I'll TRY to pop in on Friday night to pick up the last of my stuff (battery, charger, etc.) Maybe ill get a chance to meet some of you then, that way I don't look like a f00l on Sunday.
Don't worry ..........you won't be the only new person out there. I'm gonna start racing in a few weeks. Let me know if you have any questions about setup, I've been asking around and finally got my car set up for the track.
