I bought a new 3 speed tranny for my savage and it won't even shift into 2nd. There is no adjustment from 1st to 2nd just from 2nd to 3rd. The slipper is tight with a new pad but the clutch shoes look worn. it takes off good from the start but sounds like it starts to slip at a higher rpm,before it has a chance to shift . Is that possable?
It was the one way bearing engaging at higher rpms. Would slow the truck before it could shift.
